This is a great “Father / Son adventure story!” Something which we are only to proud to be associated with.
Brendon and his 15 yo son Jack Sinclair set out at 6 am next Thursday (September 11) to cycle across Australia – that’s 4,500 kms in 30 days – from Perth to Surfers Paradise.
We understand Jack will be the youngest person ever to do it.
Hammer Nutrition will be supplying the fuel for this ride and ensure they able to complete their journey.
Jack’s a fine young man who helps others wherever he can – from volunteering at a camp for disabled kids during his school holidays, donating the web site for the well-known Sydney to Surfers ride (and he manages the content) and being one of the best Scouts around (he was just awarded the Australian Scouting medallion – the highest award a Scout can receive).
The lads are riding to raise money and awareness for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Australia – they provide vulnerable young people, in need of additional support and friendship, with a caring mentor and positive role model.
If you’d like to support Jack’s ride with a donation he’d be very appreciative – you can do it on Jack’s site at http://www.perthtoparadise.com.au/ or just click on the button to the right.
The site has a ton of info and will be updated most days during their ride with photos, info and video. Check out the training video that Jack’s brother and sister did below:
Cheers
David
